I have excellent communication and customer relation skills with the ability to adapt well to improvised or unexpected situations. I am used to working within strict deadlines and enjoy working as part of a team but also have the self-discipline and confidence required to take sole responsibility for work undertaken without supervision. I can use a wide range of computer software to the highest standard including Microsoft Office programmes, PhotoShop, Audacity and WordPress in addition to a wide selection of Apple iPad Apps.

Achievements
In 1999 I founded and continued to host until 2008 the annual Edinburgh International Internet Festival.
In 2004 I received a ‘Gold’ standard volunteering award from Age Concern for my web and digital design services.
I was one of three Scottish finalists at the Talk Talk Digital Hero Awards 2010 relating to my work with ‘The GD’ community web portal.
In May of 2011 I received an ‘Inspiring Volunteering Award’ from the Edinburgh Volunteer Centre for my work as chairperson of Gorgie War Memorial Hall.
In 2020 I founded and published “Steampunk 2020” which was the first Steampunk themed combined magazine and broadcast or Zinecast. Six editions of the Zinecast was published between 2020 and 2022.
In 2021 I hosted the live stage at the Cobbles and Cogs Steampunk Weekend at Milestone Transport Museum in Basingstoke, England. I also helped develop and manage the event, in addition to producing a 40 page souvenir programme for the festival, available in both digital and print format.
